Narcoleptic Attack

"Ugh, I feel...Tired."

Spyro wobbled on his feet as Cynder got closer to him.

"We have to get you away from this place. Maybe look for help somewhere."

Spyro and Cynder spread their wings and flew, but Cynder was worried about Spyro. He looked like he could fall asleep right there, and plummet to the void below. Cynder flew close to him, trying to keep him awake. Spyro flapped his wings unevenly, his head bobbing up and down from the sleepiness he was feeling. When they returned to the floating island where they rested, Spyro collapsed on the ground, too tired to move. The last thing he could hear was Cynder calling his name, before his vision faded to blackness.

-----

Spyro looked around him. He was in some endless void of white, with nothing around him. And also...He noticed how hungry he was!

"Ugh, I feel so hungry. I need food!"

Then and there, a big slab of steak appeared before him. Spyro blinked his eyes in disbelief. He looked at the steak, sniffing it, smelling the tantalizing aroma of cooked meat. His mouth watered, and he reached his head forward, eager for a bite. As he tore a piece off with his mouth, the sweet flavor of meat exploded on his taste buds. He tore into the steak eagerly, hungry to fill his empty stomach with meat. As he finished off the steak, leaving only bone, it disappeared. He placed a clawed hand on his belly, feeling it poke out a bit, but still hungry.

"M-more! I gotta have more!"

Suddenly, a long string of smoked sausages appeared before him. He bit one off, tasting the juices flow over his tongue and into his throat. He sucked on one, inhaling the sausages in like a noodle. He was chewing and sucking at the same time, swallowing the sausages quickly. When the last one entered his mouth, he chewed on it and swallowed, feeling his hunger sated for now. He smiled as he lied down, rubbing his bulging tummy. It was poking out quite a bit, a pudgy ball of scales on his otherwise lithe frame. Then, he suddenly felt drowsy. Very drowsy.

"Wait...This feels...So...Familiar..."

-----

"Spyro! Wake up!"

Spyro's eyes shot open as he lifted his head. He saw Cynder's smiling face as she began to nuzzle onto the side of his head.

"Oh, Spyro! I was so worried! You just fell like a log, and you started blowing up, I didn't know what was happening! Please, are you alright? Tell me you're alright!" Cynder said, worry etched into her every word.

"Cynder, I'm fine. I feel fine."

Spyro got up, but felt his center of balance thrown off. "Wait, did you say I started blowing up?" he asked. He looked down at himself, seeing a pudgy ball of fat on his underbelly.

"Spyro, it started growing a few moments after you fell asleep. I knew that weird slime was dangerous." Cynder told him.

Spyro placed a hand on his new belly, kneading the soft fat on his frame. Then, he looked at Cynder.
