You felt your hope shatter into tiny pieces as you knew she wasn't going to let you go home. She looked at you expecting an answer but she didn't say anything and let you think over your decision for a few minutes.

You couldn't decide. Either way you couldn't go home. Maybe both jobs had benefits? Maybe you could use one to your advantage?
