"What the fuck, what the fuck, WHAT THE FUCK!" Tina shrieked. "Why is my mother naked and a fucking giant!?"
Again, I had to stop myself from giggling at my daughter's adorable reaction.
"Tina, I think it's the opposite." Wendy corrected in horror. "I think, we're the ones who are toy sized."
There was silence followed after. Tina was probably processing her friend's words.
"No. This is a dream. No, a nightmare. It has to be. Why else would this be happening?" Tina proclaimed in denial.
"Tina -- ow! Why'd you pinch me!?" Wendy yelled.
"We just gotta wake up. This will all be over if one of us wakes up." Tina chanted.
"Tina, y-you need to chill for a moment." Wendy tried to calm her.
"How can you be calm about this!? We're literally dolls with my mother over there a giant and naked of all things!"
A choke of a chuckle almost made its way out. But I stopped myself by feigning a light moan as I shifted ever so slightly in my 'sleep'. A short moment of quiet occurred, then Wendy spoke again.
"Look. I ... I don't know what is happening. But I think right now, we need help. And we should be thankful it's Karen here who can help us."
Oh, if only you knew, little Wendy.
"First though, I think you should calm down first." Wendy softly said.
"... okay." Tina admitted after a moment. "I'm calm now. Let's go wake her up."
Despite my lack of vision, I could guess the two were most likely making their way to me.
"I must admit though," Wendy said, "I would not have taken your mother to sleep like this."
"Please Wendy ... don't go there. This is embarrassing as it is." Tina pleaded.
"Mm, I guess. But it's not like we woke up next to your brother. Now that would be an embarrassing sight." Wendy claimed innocently.
"Wendy!" Tina yelled in horror.
"I gotta say though, Karen's doing pretty good for herself. Never really noticed from her clothes. But, she's quite the view." Wendy whistled.
I felt my cheeks heat a bit from that compliment.
"Just. Just stop talking, please." Tina begged.
"Alright alright. Man, I got nothing but praise for her and you won't even accept them." Wendy nonchalantly proclaimed.
"Now is not the time for that!" Tina's voice grew louder. No doubt she is reaching closer to my ear.
Ever so carefully, I opened my left eye as small as I could. And through my blurred vision and eyelashes, I could see the shape of my naked daughter closing in on my head.
