Helena decided to take a long rest, she had been working odd hours to get the PPD done and felt she deserved a good rest to take care of herself. She took off her work clothes and underwear since she was used to sleeping naked and also wanted a full experience of touch. Then she plopped herself on the bed, which slightly squished the hatbox, but not to the point that her head would notice.
Helena slipped herself underneath the covers and had never thought that her bedsheets could feel so good. She rested her neck on her pillow, which at the time felt really odd. She decided to take the pillow and hug it instead. The pillow felt so soft in her arms. She stayed like that for a few minutes before drifting off to sleep.
Helena eventually awoke, but had no idea what time it was. She walked out to the kitchen and started making breakfast. She grabbed two slices of bread & put them in the toaster, then she grabbed some butter & orange juice from the fridge. She then went to her cabinet and grabbed a juice glass and a plate.
