A single horses tracks were scattered around the area in a search pattern. However, these tracks were lighter than the iron-shod Black Riders horse tracks. This horse could only be ridden by an elf. You quickly ran forward to tell Aragorn. You then stay with the group as a deterrent to any foes that may be lurking around. The six of them were on their guard now, it was possible that the rider of the horse was a foe, however unlikely. You spotted her first, pointing her out to Aragorn as her horse moved stealthily through the trees. Both you and Aragorn tracked her, until she stopped, got off her horse and searched the ground for more tracks.
"What's this, an elf caught off her guard," you said playfully, as the elf jumped.
"Shurduk?" she asked, looking up. It was then that you recognized the elf. Her name was Arwen Evenstar, only daughter of Elrond Halfelven. While you had spent a lot more time with her older brothers, Elladan and Elrohir among the Rangers of the North, you had met Arwen several times in the past.
"We need your aid," said Aragorn, indicating the injured Frodo on the pony.
"We must get him to my father," said Arwen "I shall take him, I am the faster rider."
"It's too dangerous," said Aragorn "I should go."
"No," said Arwen "Asfaloth answers to me alone, but Shurduk can run alongside me, I would be grateful for his extra protection."
