The Ringwraiths were nearing the gates of Bree. When they got close, you shouted. "Halt, Witch King of Angmar, I have a hundred archers in the hills, come any closer, and death will rain down upon you" The Black Riders continued, unhindered. You knelt down and pulled on a piece of string. Several hundred arrows flew from bushes, trees and places in front of the Ringwraiths. Their horses reared, surprised. "I warned you" you say "Leave, that first volley was a warning, the next volley will be for the kill" The Witch King came to the fore of his riders. "You shall pay for thissss" said the Witch King, his voice, like the many poisonous snakes of your homeland, was dripping with poison. He turned his horse around and galloped away from Bree. The rest of his riders turned and followed. You sank to the ground, relieved that you had stopped them. If they had continued, you would have had to fight. Before the Ringwraiths had reached Bree, you had set up slings in the bushes, fitting many arrows into the slings. You had then tied a piece of string through them all and left it next to you while you confronted the Ringwraiths. It had been a clever strategy, but if they had continued, you would have had to fight to stop them. You collected your slings and string and headed back to the bush to wait for Aragorn. Little did you know, the Ringwraiths came back and tried to attack the Ring bearer and his companions. Aragorn had found them first, you saw as they left Bree, but that tale is for another time. Now, you followed behind Aragorn's group as it headed towards Rivendell.
