Mike Schmidt grumbled as he parked his car into the reserved night guard parking space. As he got out of the car, he was instantly drenched in the rain water that was flooding from the sky.
Quickly running to the front of the pizzeria, he looked up just as lightning flashed, illuminating the sign, making the entire pizzeria look demonic.
With one last sigh, Mike entered the pizzeria to start his 5th week.

3 hours later
Mike glanced at the battery to see that he had 57% left.
Smiling a bit, he said to himself, "I've had less battery than this before, and I'm still alive. Better check up on Foxy though."
Picking up the tablet, he looked at the camera in Pirate's Cove, only to see a sign with two words:
IT'S ME
Mike's eyes widened as he heard clanging coming from down the hall, "Fuck me."
Mike lept to the door, intent on shutting it before the homicidal robot got in, only to see the fox just as his hand was reaching for the button.
Somehow, Mike missed the button entirely, and hit Foxy's head instead, just as lightning struck the pizzeria. The lightning caused a brown out that lasted for a moment, making the lights in Mike's office (and that damned fan that uses power even when you're just sitting there) to turn off for a moment.
When they turned back on, Mike blinked once as he realized that he was in quite a different position than the one he was in a few seconds ago. For starters, he was looking into the office, rather than out of it, and instead of seeing a worn-down animatronic pirate fox, he saw...himself.
Then his other senses kicked in, and he realized that he could feel things that he definitely didn't feel before: like his legs. His legs felt worn out, yet strong and powerful. His chest felt...strange. Like there was something missing, and speaking of missing, he couldn't feel one of his hands. But the strangest things were definitely the fact that his face felt different, and he could see much more clearly now than a few minutes ago. (Does Foxy have a tail? I don't think so.)
Backing up in shock at seeing his doppelgänger, Mike looked in the one-way glass to see his reflection. Standing there, staring back at him was the reflection of Foxy the pirate fox.
Mike screamed, the same scream the animatronics use when they tried to get him in the past.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
