"...3'10"!?" Natsumi thought aloud, "I'm 3'10" now!?" She couldn't believe it that she grew even more! At this rate, she WILL become a freak! As Natsumi started to put the measuring tape away, she felt a strange, unsettling chill go through her entire body, from down her spine to tips of her fingers and toes. "What was that?" She said worried, "I should check again, just in case." She pulls out the tape and saw that she now reached 3'11". Natsumi looked at the number, blinked a few times, then checked it again, still at 3'11". "I grew!? This isn't happening?!" She dropped the tape and walked backwards away from it. "I'm... I'm getting bigger..." Natsumi snapped from her thoughts when she heard a knock on her door. "Sweetie, you need to hurry up if you don't want to be late for school!" shouted her mother through the door. Natsumi quickly went into her closet, finding a large box, full of clothes that were too big for her before. She was hoping to never having to go through these box, especially at this point of her life. Her regular clothes are too small for her, so Natsumi had no choice now.
After a couple of minutes, Natsumi ran into the kitchen, wearing a somewhat loose white blouse and a red skirt that reached her knees. Her mother was finished making Natsumi's lunch then looked her newly dressed daughter, "Awe, there's my baby girl wearing some new clothes! My, you're growing up so fast! She said cheerily. Natsumi's face became cherry red when her mother mention 'growing up'. "Well, I'm ready, Mom." "Alright, just let me grab my purse first, dear!" Her mother quickly walked out of the room, Natsumi closed her eyes and sighed, "I don't know if I can do this." As she finished her sentence, the familar chill feeling came back, slighty stronger than before. "Not again!" Natsumi said in worried tone. "What was that?" Her mother said, heading back in the kitchen. Natsumi turned to face her, then looked in embarrassment, "Umm, nothing. Let's go!"
