Sara quickly rushed into the kitchen, about to prepare herself some breakfast. She quickly grabbed the coffee maker and poured herself a cup o' joe. Next, she grabbed a bowl and a box of Bran Flakes. She poured the cereal into her bowl, then grabbing the milk from the fridge and pouring it into the bowl, nearly spilling it.
"Gotta be quick, gotta be quick..." She said as she began to ruthlessly eat her cereal and drink her coffee. While eating her breakfast, she began to read the university's e-paper. She scrolled down on most of the articles due to them not really being readable.
"Sports, News, ugh, why isn't there anything good in the paper!" She cried out. She continued to scroll until something caught her eye. And it really caught her eye.
"College students have the opportunity at the school labs to volunteer in an experiment. You must sign-up by Friday if you wish to volunteer." Sara read. "Huh, seems like something I'd be perfect in." She then got back to her breakfast, trying her best not to miss class. "Ok, remember to go by the school labs in order to sign-up. Simple enough." She said as she then walked out the door to her dorm.

Classes had just finished for Sara, and she remembered to head by the lab to sign-up. She walked briskly, due to her still having some thoughts on this.
"What if this goes wrong? Will I be alright?" She thought in her head. "Maybe it could change me, make me taller, stronger. I'd love that, I'd be like Sam!" She finally reached the school labs on the east side of the school grounds. She walked inside, and was greeted by Dr. Ionnia. Dr. Jessica Ionnia was heading up the experiment, and was hoping for great test results. The goal of the experiment was to see how a certain serum would change the human body. The serum, dubbed HMB-X, would alter the human body to how the body reacted to the serum. Small doses would not be too noticeable, and were the main goal of the experiment, to see if the school could create a serum to help the University's sports teams.
"Hello! Are you here to sign-up for the experiment?" Dr. Ionnia asked.
"I-I am." Sara said. The 5'2, 110 lbs Doctor seemed much better compared to Sara's body.
"Great! The sign-up sheet is to your right." Dr. Ionnia finished. Sara then walked over to the small table with a clipboard on it. On the clipboard was the sign-up sheet. Only two other people had signed up. One of them was Alexis Miller, a girl who lived right next to Sara and Sam's dorm. She was 4'10 and 97 lbs, slightly bigger than Sara. The other was Lydia King, an African-American girl who was 5'0 and 100 lbs, and she also lived in Alexis' dorm. Sara was good friends with each of the girls, and seeing them be with her during the experiment, made her more confident.
"Doing this with friends will be much easier." She thought to herself as she wrote down her name on the sheet. She then walked out of the lab, heading to her dorm. She had no plans of telling Sam, hoping to keep this a secret.

Friday, after class. Sara rushed to the lab, making sure she wouldn't be late.
"This is it, no turning back." She thought as she ran. She could only dream of shedding her small body for a new, stronger one. Thinking about it made her happy, really happy. "Could this be it? Could it, really be that incredible? Probably not..." She said with sadness. Sara soon after finally arrived at the lab, in front of the lab doors were Alexis and Lydia.
"Oh, hey Sara! We didn't think you'd come by." Alexis said.
"Oh, I signed up for that lab test, too. I read about in the paper."
"Nice, I'm only here because I convinced Alexis to sign-up but she said she'd only do it with me." Lydia said.
"Yeah, I'm kinda scared..." Alexis said.
"We're all scared, but this'll go by better because we're all friends, I hope..." Sara said.
"I hope too." Lydia said. Suddenly the door to the lab swung open and Dr. Ionnia stepped out.
"Well, you're all here! Please, come inside." The Doctor said as she motioned the girls to come in. They began to walk towards the room to where they would receive their doses of HMB-X. Alexis shuddered in nervousness, staying close to Lydia for most of the walk. Dr. Ionnia finally opened the door to a white room, where they would be tested on. The girls stepped inside, to see three test tubes with a green serum in the tubes.
"And this is what you girls will be taking." Dr. Ionnia said to the three girls who were now standing right in front of the serum for the first time. "We have a medical team on standby if one of you or all of you have a negative reaction. This will hopefully go well. You may drink the serum whenever you like." Alexis, Lydia, and Sara all took the test tubes.
"1, 2, 3." Lydia said as she, Alexis, and Sara gulped down the serum.
