Naturally, Kat's parents weren't very happy. Kat's mom was particuarlaly dissapointed; she'd promised not to use her powers to hurt Dan.
"We can just turn him back!" Kat said, trying to find a spell in her book.
"If you could make a spell to turn someone into a human, you'd be rich. You can't turn him back; if you could, you would see witches turning trees into men and flowers into women." Her mom replied.
"So... my little brothers now a horse?"
"And he will be forever." But her mom didn't look upset. She was obviously dissapointed, but maybe this wasn't entirely bad. Dan was currently sitting in the corner of the room, and was fairly comfortable.
"We need to do something with the boy," their dad said, "he can't stay in the house."
Dan looked up. He had thought that maybe he could just live at home. The reason he wasn't so upset at the news that he would forever be a horse was because he never had to go to school again! But he didn't want to be treated like a horse aswell, though. After all, he still had the thoughts of a human.
"Come out onto the back lawn, Daniel, we'll keep you out there for the moment." Dan's dad took him out into the lawn and tied him up. He didn't like being treated like this.
Kat looked on, and smiled. This was hilarious!
"Young lady, I don't think you understand what you've done. Dan can't stay here; we're going to have to move him out onto a farm."
It dawned on Kat that she had condemned her brother to life as a farm animal. What had she done?
