It's a typical, lazy afternoon and you're browsing the internet rather idly. A rather obnoxious pop-up ad appears on screen, and it somehow manages to keep your attention for longer that it would take to simply close it. The ad says something about being unhappy with the appearances of those around you, and something about being able to change people's looks at will. You laugh at this, but decide to see more about these ludicrous claims. Following the ad to its respective website, you see that none of the claims are really backed up--there's just more about being able to morph other people. Finally, you find an option to purchase whatever product is being offered. Whatever it is they're selling is cheap, only a few dollars and no apparent shipping costs, so you decide to buy it. After all, if it's a scam then you're only out a few bucks, but if it works then it'll be more than worth the money. As you go to make your purchase, you're stopped by a wall of text--the fine print. Throwing caution to the wind, you scroll all the way to the bottom and hit the agree button, before receiving a notification that your purchase was successful. That, and a reminder that you simply had to think it for it to happen.
"Think it and it'll happen, huh? Alright, let's give it a try--hopefully I didn't just blow a few dollars on literally nothing. So, who's first?"
