It was a cloudy overcast day in the Adachi ward of Tokyo. The time of year was fall, and winter would be coming. Thankfully one that doesn't last for ten years, more like ten weeks.
And on the sidewalk on her way to school was a rather tall girl dressed in a red school uniform, taller than most Japanese at around 5'8. Given her age, she still has room to grow. She is quite beautiful, as her hair was long and obsidian, her eyes a dark grey, and carried with her a rather feminen physique.
And she was tending her right index finger, sucking on it in response to it being bitten by a cat.
"Why does that cat bite?" Whispered Sakaki to herself. She knew she would have to visit the nurses when she gets to school. She heard that cat's mouths were chock full of bacteria and she could get infected. It would mean skipping one day, but it would only be one day, and she can ask her friend Yomi for any notes.
But knowing Yomi, she'd be more interested in the more recent diet fad than notes. The tall girl sighed.
"I'll have to ask Kagura then..." At least Kagura would be more than happy to give Sakaki her notes.
