Fiona thought about it for a while. Her mother had not died, but left her. She was a centaur, not human, and all she was led to believe was a lie. She was the species she had been told so many stories about. Fiona finally decides that she should forgive her mother, after all, what she did, she did it to protect Fiona. Fiona says, "I forgive you for leaving me, but I still don't understand why you didn't tell me sooner. I was taught to hate our kind and now I'm the very kind the humans despise. I'm not trying to sound ungrateful, I actually would fight for the centaurs." "If I had told you when you were little you might of blown our cover. Over time, it slipped my mind to tell you. I am truly sorry you found out this way honey," Her mother says. Fiona replies, "Well it's in the past and we can't change that. I'm just happy to see you again mother. And now I understand why I always felt different from everyone." They then hug each other and shed tears of happiness. Seleen then says, "You best get some rest dear. They hit you a little harder than they expected to. I don't want you passing out on the floor and risk further injury Fiona." "Alright mom, and thank you for coming to get me, in a manner of speaking," Fiona says. "Your welcome," Seleen says, and with that Fiona fell asleep.
