Chapter #5Rouge the Kid by: Fuzzy   Rouge stepped into the chamber and turned facing the door as it closed. Tails gets to work on the keyboard, typing away, keying in commands, etc. He got near the end of the startup sequence before the interface showed 'Age Regression: _ _ years of age'.
"Well Rouge is usually one to mock me on my size, so I should knock her down a couple of pegs", mused Tails.
After the keystrokes of the zero and eight key, the machine hums and shakes in place, reverting its test subject to a simpler time. With a rather cartoonish ding, the door opens, release light smoke and stream across the room. Tails takes a look into the chamber to see the result the machine had.
Rouge was standing still with her eyes closed. Her eyeliner, mascara, and lipstick had disappeared, leaving her face without any makeup. It was obvious that she was smaller than before, unmistakably a child. Still she managed to be taller than Tails is now, but it might be loss noticeable if she wasn't still in her boots. Speaking of which, those boots, her gloves, and breastplate were too big to fit her, but fabric underneath it seemed snug around her. Might make sense to wear form-fitting clothing if you're a thief.
Rouge slowly flutters her eyes open as they adjust to the fog. She tries to step forward but since her knees were inside the the long boots, she stumbles forward and rolls right out of them. Offering a hand, Tails lifts her to her feet. Upon another inspection, no matter if from the top of their heads or their upright ears, the both of them are the same height. Rouge then quickly pushes Tails away, causing him to fall to the ground. When he looks up at her she stares back at him before saying...   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
