You took off your clothes for work and changed into something more comfortable, you walked back down and sat down next to Amy, when suddenly you noticed Amy seemed to be shifting positions on the couch yet she wasn't moving.
Kim went into the kitchen for a bit.
It lasted briefly. You stare and blink unsure of what you just saw. After few minutes Amy notices you giving her a strange look.
"What's wrong daddy? Why are you looking at me with a weird face" Amy asked in an angelic innocent voice.
You snapped out of it and brush it off as a hallucination.
"No reason."
Amy thought you were acting weird but being so young just went back to watching her show.
Several minutes pass however and it happens again but more noticeable. Amy was taking up more and more space on the couch. Again it stopped but there was no denying it your "little girl" was growing but certainly not normal growth.
Amy noticed you looking again.
"Daddy you're staring again. Are you okay?"
"I'm fine Daddy why?"
"Y-You don't notice anything different, or strange or feel any different"
Amy thought for a second. "umm I don't think so..." But she trailed off as something clicked. She stood up and you were shocked and amazed the clothes she was wearing
( pink shirt, pink mini-skirt, white socks and presumably whatever panties she wore )
Had grown with her
"Daddy did you get shorter somehow"
You couldn't believe it your little girl towered over you at 6"3
"N-No y-you're the one who's gotten bigger" you reluctantly stutter
Amy examines herself and compares herself to the furniture.
"Wow you're right daddy! This is so cool! Now the bullies at school might not pick on me no more"
"Bullies? You have a bully problem?"
Amy turns suddenly downcast and quiet.
"You can tell me sweetie"
"Yea there's this group of boys 2 and 3 grades ahead of my class. They pick on a few of the girls at our school, pull our hair, trip us, and 1 of them even stole my Hello Kitty lunch box"
"Amy I'm disappointed in you you should've told your mom and I especially since you told your mother that you lost it on a field trip"
"I'm sorry Daddy but at least now I'm bigger than the bullies"
"About that honey we need to find out how you got this way did anything strange or unusual happen today?"
Just as Amy was about to answer Kim came back in the room.
"What's all the ruckus in here and HOLY SHIT WHAT HAPPENED TO MY LITTLE GIRL"
"Oooo Mommy said a bad word"
"Uhh well Kim... Honey somehow our growing little girl is quite literally growing a lot"
"I can see that but what caused it"
"Well dear Amy was about to hopefully help figure that out by telling about her day"
"Oh well okay go ahead"
"Well let's see today we had Art then music then gym then lunch. At lunch the bullies pushed me down on the ground as classes were heading in. As I was getting up I remember a weird red light, feeling warm and the pain going away. "
"Wait bullies" questions Kim
"Yeah apparently our daughter has a bully problem at school"
"So that's where and how you really got the black eye and bruises... And-and wait your bruises and your black eye they're gone" said Kim
"Wait what black eye and bruises?"
"Well when I picked Amy up early at the school nurses office they said she had tripped on her shoelaces in the school lunch area. Also when I picked her up and brought her home Amy's knees were skinned and bruised. Also she had a black eye in her left eye. Come to think of it a few things did seem off with Amy but somehow I missed her injuries vanish"
"Huh I just noticed that the pain is gone too" added Amy
"Anyway although the bully thing and lying are issues but right now we have a bigger problem" you said.
"Not funny Sean but you're right" said Kim with a glare.
"So Amy sweetie you said something about a red light"
"Huh? Yea I don't remember where it came from but yea as the bullies and other kids left a red glow from behind appeared and it lasted until I got up. Right after that Miss Lisa the art teacher found me"
"Aha that glow or light or whatever must be the cause" you deduce.
"Honey don't be silly this isn't some kind of cheesy sci fi flick or something. That kind of thing could never happen"
"Yea just like our little girl couldn't outgrow the family at her age much less a 6"3 Amazoness "
As you say that Amy began to feel strange.
"M-Mommy Daddy I feel funny this time all tingly and like I have extra energy but not hyper"
Suddenly you and your watch as before your eyes Amy began to grow even bigger her clothes and everything growing in proportion slowly she inched up in size and height

At 9 feet tall Amy's head grazed the ceiling so she sat down flattening her moms favorite wooden chair by accident. Bigger and bigger Amy swelled till at 12"4 she stopped her head just shy of the ceiling again.
Just then Isabel comes home from her friends.
"Mom, Dad I'm home" she said then walked into the living room to see the scene before her.
What looked like Amy sitting on the floor open legged her white panties with hearts showing.
"What's going on in here and what's with the big toy that looks like Amy" asked Isabel.
"Hi Issy I'm not a toy" said Amy
Isabel stood shocked. "OH MY GOD IS THAT AMY? WHAT HAPPENED TO HER? ALSO I TOLD YOU NOT TO CALL ME THAT NAME BRAT"
"I think it's obvious what happened to Amy dear" you finally say.
"That's not what I meant. I mean why has Amy gone from little twerp to big brat"
"Issy you're just jealous you're a short meanie-head"
"Now now girls don't fight" ordered their mom.
"Sorry mommy" said Amy.
"Whatever. So are you going to fill me in" asked Isabel
"Sure thing but let's talk in the kitchen. Amy sweetheart you stay here and watch your cartoons and behave" you say.
"Okay daddy"
With that they go to the kitchen leaving Amy alone to watch more cartoons.
Meanwhile a few blocks away in what looked like a tour bus a few scientists and their aides are somehow monitoring the situation.
One female scientist was recording observation data on voice recorder
"Test subject 6 year old Amy appears to still be growing in spurts. Subject was initially unaware but has since noticed her growth. Subject then became at least somewhat aware of quote "a strange tingling and warm feeling" associated with the spurts. So far subject seems to be healthy, unharmed and shows no adverse reactions. Interestingly when the subject took off her shoes they stopped growing. We are glad to see we were able to get her clothing to grow with her. This was an initial concern when the project director announced the chosen target would be a young girl."
"*sigh *so far this observational stuff is so boring it's no fair Heinzly got to be the one to zap the brat. Who knows if things will get more exciting or when we will target another subject" said another scientist.
Ignoring the outburst the 1st scientist continued her observations
"Needles to say some members of the project committee especially a few of us like myself whom are parents with daughters had reservations about using a child or minor much less the risk of that child being exposed. We feared perverts and pedophiles would be an issue some even thought the director had impure motives until he shared the basis from limited animal testing that the technology for some reason seems more adaptable to the female of a species especially if that female hasn't fully matured and were still growing. Furthermore when human trial was announced by the director and the general the director argued that finding the tamest possible targets were ideal."
