Now What?

“No, it couldn’t be…” she whispers in surprise as she bends down to have a look at you. She pauses for a moment and realizes it is you. “Oh, my God! Brad?!”

It looked as if a mountain was falling overtop of you. You mother’s hand wrapped around your little body, her huge fingers were like tree trunks. You get sick to your stomach as she lifts you up in front of her face. You jump up and down and scream her name in joy!

“Brad… What happened?” she asks as she lifts you up to her ear.

You scream the whole story into her ear, including how Cindy almost stepped on you earlier. By the time you have finished your voice is beyond hoarse, and you need to rest your vocal chords for a moment.

“Oh my. Brad I’m so glad you’re safe, and I think we should keep you out of Cindy’s sight for now. She’s a good girl, but she’s not an angel.”

You nod in agreement. You try to shout again to ask what you should do, but your voice is still strained from before and comes out in an inaudible whisper.

“Okay. We’ve got to act like nothing has happened all right? I can’t believe I’m holding my son in the palm of my hand,” she says laughing, “Now what should we do?”

You mime a police officer.

"I agree," she replies still laughing.

You have the following choices:
