Growing up you were always a huge fan of the Naruto series. It was your first true gateway into anime and manga and held a very special place in your heart. When it finally ended it was like you were saying goodbye to an old friend who'd been by you through thick and thin.
All of your favorite characters grew up and moved on, and so did you to the sequel series that was announced. Boruto is what it was called, and the story would chronicle the adventures of the son of Hidden Leaf Village's own number one hyperactive knucklehead ninja.
You were excited to see the new characters that would be introduced and even more excited to see your favorite characters from the original series as full-grown adults guiding the next generation of Shinobi. Unfortunately, in the early days the anime didn't quite live up to the hype.
It was kind of a slog most of the time since the manga was monthly as opposed to weekly, but every so often a gem would make itself known before enough manga material was made to adapt. At least you still got to see the characters you grew up with like Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Kakashi, Shikamaru and Hinata just to name a few.
You'd fallen asleep watching the latest episode of the show online before suddenly waking up in a very strange way. For one you weren't in Kansas anymore, and everything was so... big. The world around you was gigantic and you were just so damn small. An inch tall to be exact.
You also recognized the house you were in from watching enough episodes of the anime. You were in Naruto and Hinata's house. You almost couldn't believe it. You had to pinch yourself to make sure you weren't dreaming and yelped when you felt the pain. "No way."
Yes way! You weren't dreaming. You were wide awake and actually in the world of Naruto. A huge part of you wanted to explore as you didn't know if your situation was only temporary, and you knew you'd regret it for the rest of your life if you didn't.
You were about to walk around until you felt the ground beneath you shake. The unexpected tremors caused you to lose your balance and fall and you were left wondering if you were experiencing an earthquake or an attack. If so, it wouldn't be the first time the Leaf Village had come under fire.
The tremors grew stronger, and you noted the small pauses between shakes. There was a pattern to them, almost as if they were... your eyes widened in shock as the source of the seismic activity made itself known. It was none other than the adult version of Hinata Uzumaki, formerly Hyuga walking along the carpet with her bare feet.
Your jaw dropped and your heart nearly stopped. You couldn't believe it. The Hinata Hyuga was literally walking towards you right now as tall as the Statue of Liberty. You were fanboying so hard that you almost completely missed the danger coming towards you. She didn't know you were here, and you were so small she could crush you and never even know it.
"Oh crap!" You shouted before starting to run. Hopefully you could avoid the giantess but with the size difference between you it was a real crap shoot if you could or not. For your own sake, you prayed that you could.
