Darren and his 'posse'

Darren met his friends outside the school's cafe - which, given the 'upmarket' aim of the school, was a 'bistro' - and headed in for another of the 'gourmet' meals the school prided itself on. Gourmet, but in 'all-you-can-eat' format, so also 'gourmand', which suited Darren and the other 'generously built' boys in the school just fine.

Speaking of 'generously built, Darren's friends and classmates were all 'generously built', though none as generous as Darren. At 530 and 6', Darren was the biggest, though not the tallest - that was Keith, already 6'4", and about 430. Caleb was also over the 400 mark, but at 5'10", very round. Perry, the fourth member of the gang, hauled 'only' 350 pounds on his 5'11" frame, but he had only been at the school for two years - two years in which he had done a lot of 'catching up'.

The boys load up trays, and sit down to feed. Between stuffing their faces, they talk about...
