Appearing from the poke ball is a small saurian like Pokémon Raven recognizes as the grass-type Pokémon Bulbasaur. ‘Okay since this is a starter he probably does not know any advanced moves or strategy’s, better stick to the basics’ “Eevee use tackle.” The mysterious thief orders leading Eevee to recklessly charge Bulbasaur. “Quick Bulbasaur dodge and use tackle.” What followed was a small but fierce back and forth between the two Pokémon neither getting an edge as they battled across the cabin at their trainers commands. It is then that Raven notices something about Eevee’s movements. ‘It’s dropping its defense when charging, if I can time this just right…..NOW!’ “BULBASAUR DUCK!” responding to his trainers shout the small saurian like Pokémon quickly drops down, causing a charging Eevee to overshoot its target and exposing his flank to Bulbasaur, not missing the opportunity Bulbasaur quickly lays into his opponent with a fierce tackle knocking the brown fox like Pokémon out and ending the battle.
The thief lets out a frustrated growl as she returns the unconscious Eevee to its poke ball ‘It’s over, now give up and return the Pokémon you stole.’ The tension in the coupe can almost be cut with a knife, even Bulbasaur seems to have grasped the seriousness of the situation if the glare he’s giving the thief is anything to go by.
The thief seems to cast hidden glances at the other poke-balls spread throughout the coupe and Raven prepares herself for any sudden moves by her oppone “PING, we have arrived at our destination please be careful when exiting the train and thank you for traveling with us.” The sudden announcement along with the opening of the train doors catches Raven of guard, locking eye’s with her masked opponent she sees a myriad of emotions before the mysterious woman turns and flees unto the platform.
Seeing her Pokémon ready to give chase Raven calls out. “Bulbasaur wait! I want to catch her to but right now your fellow Pokémon take priority.” At the grass-type’s nod Raven lets out a sigh of relief, quickly gathering the remaining poke-balls and scattered papers titan and Pokémon soon find themselves standing on the platform.
“Now let’s see, the aid that was transporting you said you belonged to a professor, since where in Kanto I assume he meant professor Oak?” At Bulbasaur’s nod of conformation Raven says. “Alright then I think our next move should be….”
