Naruto was standing, but there was something different about him. He then began to walk forward slowly.
"Impossible," the man said. "You shouldn't even be standing, let alone moving."
"A human wouldn't," said a voice that didn't belong to a teenage boy. "A demon on the other hand can overcome such annoyances."
"What are you?" the man asked, as he got out a kuni knife.
"I'm called Kurama, though you might know me better as the Nine-Tailed Fox."
The man chuckled. "I've heard of you. Hard to believe that someone as strong as you was trapped in the body of a brat."
"Trapped, but not defeated," the Nine-tailed fox said. "And I've got some tricks up my sleeve." Claws began to grow on Naruto's fingers. His teeth became canines. Tails sprouted from the base of his spine. Orange fur grew all over his body, and his ears became very fox-like. "A little weaker than what I like, but it will do to take care of you."
