Nicola paced up and down the room, unsure of what to do. Her new height took her a while to get used to, and her clothes had become uncomfortable. In the end her mind was made up when there was a knock at her door. Partly in panic of being discovered in her new form and partly due to not wanting to share her new miracle potion, she very quickly downed all of the vials of liquid.
What happened next was all a blur to Nicola. Her vision became impaired and her breathing became laboured. She thought she was having a heart attack briefly, until a warm tingle passed over all of her body, instantly calming her. She blinked hard and her vision came back. Although everything seemed more... alive. The red wallpaper on her wall seemed to be positively glowing a vibrant shade that hadn't previously existed. Another tingle passed through her body, and another, and another and another. She was too occupied with the thoughts and sensations rushing through her head to associate the 5 tingles with the 5 vials.
She looked down at the floor and saw her feet had literally exploded out of her shoes, a quick glance up saw she was now mere inches from the ceiling. She realised with a groan she had grown again, her clothes now ripped to shreds. She remembered the knock at the door, and moved her now massive hand to the handle to open it. She had not considered her strength in her new form, and the door exploded in a shower of wooden shards when her little finger brushed against it. Whoever was on the other side of the door was now in pieces, their body ripped apart by parts of door flying at mach speeds.
Nicola took an involuntary step back, her now bare foot going straight through the wall like a knife through butter. I can do anything, she realised. She was a god, no, she was a goddess, and completely unstoppable. Drunk with power, she grinned and thought how best to demonstrate her power.
