As the hours wore on without your parents you became more and more worried. So you turned to your favourite coping mechanism playing with your plushies. You had just gotten a new one for a thrift store. It was in a strange box by itself in a barrel far away from from the other dolls but you thought nothing of this at the time. You take it out of the box.
You look it over it has four wings, fluffy spiky hair, big blue eyes, soft beaked mouth with two fangs protruding out the side, smooth scaly underbelly, and lovely soft fur, and a tag with symbols you didn't recognize. You jumped on the bed cuddling with you plushie. It was a beautiful night and a full moon so you opened your bedroom blinds flooding your room with moonlight.
Unbeknownst to you the exposure to the moon is just what it needed. It needed moonlight to wake from it long slumber. It wouldn't be at full strength for a while and most of the powers it had were too drained to be used right now but with enough time they would return but for now it just loved the feeling of bathing in the rejuvenating rays of the moon.
