Janice Lester is frantic as she discovers the transfer is weakening. She rushes into the brig still in Kirk's body. This time the transfer doesn't reverse. Instead the rest of the crew oppose her. Kirk in Janice's body watches in horror as Janice in his body shouts, "If I can't have this like then neither will you." She then turns the phaser on herself and vaporizes. "Noooooo", Kirk shouts still in Janice Lester's body. He runs over to the spot where his body had been. Spock comforts Kirk by placing his arm around her. "Damn it Spock, I'm not some woman that needs to be coddled", Kirk shouts! Spock raises an eyebrow and states, "Captain, it appears that you are now and with your body gone it seems you will remain that way. We will proceed to Star Base 2 to get you treated for radiation poisoning. There I will appeal to Starfleet to recognize you as Captain Kirk." Kirk is in shock as he, or rather she realizes she's stuck as Janice Lester, a woman. "Security, escort Miss Kirk back to sickbay and confine Dr. Coleman to the brig", Spock orders.
