You leave the farm house and go out to the stables, the horses were neighing as if they wanted to be fed. An electric blue flash passed along the roof of the stables as the holodeck struggled to maintain integrity. You ignore it enjoying the feel of your catsuit as it hugs your taut body, like a lover. It wasn't in keeping with the aesthetic of the holodeck but this should only be a brief visit.
"Holodeck safeties off" a disembodied voice anounced. This is still a safe environment you think, as you feed the horses some oats. Suddenly, the whole holo array flickers leaving the bare walls, and you standing alone, it flickers a couple more times and finally in a flash vanishes. You open your eyes afterwards, and see the holodeck has vanished entirely. You are aware only of the endless black, lacking texture, depth and feeling. You know you can only wait.
