At one centimeter tall, Mr. Goulding looked like nothing more than an ant stranded on the classroom floor, and that was just what he felt like, too. He watched in horror as his students all stood and came over for a closer look, and trembled as he felt their footsteps shake the world. Soon they were gathered all around him, a bunch of godly teens who stood as tall as skyscrapers, their bright young eyes fixed on his puny self, first in awe, then in amusement. They mocked him, made fun of him, put their feet down next to him so they could see how small he was next to them.
The only one keeping out of it was Stephan. The young boy was deep in thought as he felt that something had changed inside him. Somehow, he was sure that he was responsible for Mr. Goulding having shrunk out of nowhere. More than that, he was sure that he could do it again if he set his mind to it.
But he wanted to make sure he was right, so he focused on his loud and annoying classmates, none of whom he had ever gotten along with, and envisioned them all shrinking down to the same size as their teacher.
It happened just as he wanted. In a matter of seconds they were all reduced to the size of ants. They looked around in horror, then up at Stephan's grinning face, and started running away from the titanic teen. But Stephan knew that shrinking people wasn't his only new power. The whole world bent to his will now, and he willed for all those shrunken people to appear on the floor right between his feet, where an invisible barrier kept them from escaping him.
"'Sup, bugs," the godly teen said, reveling in the sight of his teacher and classmates all cowering from him on the ground. "Looks like you're all gonna be getting a first-hand lesson in religion. it's time for you to learn all about..."
