Chapter #5

Slip up

Liz had almost no time to react as she slipped in a puddle of water. Hitting the floor with a hard thud, she cursed a few times as her black knee length skirt was made uncomfortably wet. She stood up, brushing off her butt in a meagre attempt to dry herself off.

Giving up on reducing the amount of water on her, Liz looked around, there were bottles of water spilled everywhere, apparently someone was infected here, and they started to change when everyone went for their water, they freaked out, and everything went everywhere in the panic to escape.

Looking down at the water coating the floor, Liz hoped that water didn't carry the virus, as she was pondering this, something moving caught the corner of her eye. Whirling around, she saw it was a scent streamer from one of the air vents, and then lost her footing again.

Now soaked entirely, Liz audibly cursed, and got up, she headed out of the room, hoping to find some means of drying off.
