Out-of-this-world Visitor

Suddenly the meteor’s top burst off, and a bright beam of light shot up from the meteor into the sky. Lindsey covered her eyes as she turned away from the blinding beam. Then she heard a loud roaring noise, like large engine. She opened her eyes and saw the dark silhouette of a UFO, apparently coming to land where the “meteor” had struck.

The craft was huge! Its landing gears would crush a house each. Somewhat fortunately it didn’t land on Lindsey’s house but the opening to the inside led right to her lawn. As it opened Lindsey hid behind the tree again and waited nervously for whatever was inside to come out.
