You and Keichi, the butler that picked up from your apartment, had nice long and very awkwardly formal chat about your Uncle. Apparently he had left had his entire fortune, this mansion, his business, everything to you… it was all a little hard to believe but there it was in black and white. All of these was now yours, and free for you to use however you please… whatever that might be. You were too accustomed to living with just enough money to live somewhat comfortably.
After the very uncomfortable conversation Keichi, the pale butler began to lead you to the Dining Hall to meet the other people that worked here. While you were walking in complete silence, you glance around at the hanging art and decorations that filled the sides of the hall. You were getting really nervous about meeting everyone… if the other people, other than Taiga, were as stiff and proper as Keichi, you don’t know how you would manage it…
“We’re here” the ever aloof butler announced and you took a deep breath as you followed behind him. You spotted the three of them standing by the table. Taiga was among the group waiting for you. With them side by side, it made the different between them obvious. They were all different in both shapes and sizes. “Where is Ryujin?” Keichi asked the group, it looked like there was one member not present at the gathering.
“He’s finishing up in the kitchen,” the taller guy you didn’t know informed him.
“I see, let begin anyways. Everyone this is the new master of the house.” He introduced you still with that uncaring tone of voice. It was safe to say even among his fellow staff member he still had that icy cold attitude.
“…Um hello… I’ll be staying here now…… Please take care of me.” You nervously greeted everyone with a deep bow. Oh man, you were super tense… What kind of people were they? Would hate they that you were their new master? Everything was so uncertain… it was nerve-racking.
“Hi, I’m Megumi” smallest person of the group spoke first. “I’m the gardener, so if you want any pretty flowers or something I’m your guy.” Megumi was tiny little blond thing in height but his built was largest of the group. He was plump all over but his was round belly and forming mobs were the most noticeable in the shirt that was looking a bit tight. You weren’t sure if it was because he was short and chubby but look like a grade school student, a very cute elementary kid.
“Keep your flowers to yourself, shrimp if the little princess wants flowers I’ll get for her personally,” Taiga spoke suddenly as he jealously glare at Megumi. The man walked up to you and grabbed you hand, and shrank away a bit as he did so. “Don’t worry, I’ll take real good care of you~” He cooed and it made your heart beat and this time wasn’t out of fear. You earlier learn that he was your chauffeur.
“Now, now Taiga, don’t hog the new Master all for yourself,” the next guy spoke up and pretty much snatch you out of Taiga’s grip. He had long silky brown hair and soft facial features that were feminine. When it came to his built, he was thinner Keichi… almost skinnier than you and you don’t really eat well. “Hello Master, my name is Sai and I’m a tailor. I’ll make you lots of pretty outfits.”
“Hey, hands off she’s mine.” Again your thuggish crush growled, this time at that the tailor and swiftly separated the two of you.
“You can’t be selfish, we all want to know Master better.” Sai retorted back teasingly with a big smile on his face.
“Yeah, I want to be good friends with Master, too” Megumi also added his statement though his was much sincere sounding than Sai’s.
“Beside…got to put my hands all over to get her measurement.” The brown-haired man mention continuing his teasing tone and it set Taiga off. The two when back and forth arguing over you, surprising it made the atmosphere less suffocating. You felt better knowing it wasn’t going to be some cold master and servant thing going on here. You laughed in relief at Taiga and Sai little verbal battle.
“Ah, Master finally smiled” the small gardener pointed out with a chirp in his voice, “It’s really nice you should smile more.” With that statement the two other guys stopped to stare at your face. It was pretty embarrassing having them all staring at you suddenly, but at least you weren’t too nervous and tense anymore.
“You’re finally here,” Keichi spoke again and it startled you a bit. You forgot he was here with all the liveliness in front of you. “This is the new master.” You followed his eyes to meet the dark eyes of a tall man, taller than everyone else, in a chef uniform. It may have been his tall stature there was an intimidating air coming from him.
“I’m Ryujin.” The guy clearly stated and didn’t look like he was going to say anything else. He continued to silently stare at you. All you think of to do was bow your head and throw him a friendly smile. He just nodded his head back at you. You finally notice the silver platter his hand that you’ve only seen in movies. He place the plate on the table before he plainly saying, “Dinner.”
Seeing his eyes didn’t leave you, you assumed that was your food. You moved to the table and sat in the seat in front it. You couldn’t help but notice how comfortable and big the chair was, three people could probably fit in it with no problem. As the top came off the platter, the wondrous smell filled your nose. It also looked just as delicious. You couldn’t remember the last time you had a meal that look this good. You were almost drooling over it. You wanted to dig in right away, but that would be rude before everyone got food. You glanced around they were all staring at you again.
“Aren’t you guys going to eat, too?” You asked as you looked side to side at the servants that were gathered around you.
“I won’t right now, I still have some business to take care of,” That was Keichi answer and with that he exited the room without other word. You just glance at the ones that remain for their response.
“Actually, since I finally got Taiga here I can finally get those measurements I need.” And with that Sai grabbed him and began dragging him off with much complain from the` redhead. But before leaving, he did call back, “We’ll join you afterwards if you still here~”
With that it left you with Ryujin and the tall man shook his head no say about not eating right now and Megumi. Locked eyes with the chubby small blond as you waited to hear what he was going to say.
