Trying to Avoid Human Contact.

Find some random girl just to get this over with? No way. You've chosen Annie, and Annie it shall be. How hard could it be to avoid bumping into anyone for just one day? Thus decided, you carefully slip your hands into your pockets and begin to make your way home. To be honest, you aren't perfectly clear on whether the magic actually needs skin-to-skin contact in order to work, but you figure you'd best not take any chances. Luckily, since school ended nearly half an hour ago the hallways are all but deserted, allowing you to reach your car and eventually your house without incident.

You spend the rest of the evening in your room, playing videogames and avoiding human contact. You claim to be feeling sick in order to avoid coming down for dinner—the prospect of accidentally touching a family member is something you shudder even to contemplate. Instead, you watch some funny videos on the internet, work your way through the single-player campaign of Strike Force III, and just generally waste as much time as you can. Eventually, you're tired enough to go to bed—after locking the door and windows—where you rest undisturbed until morning.

That, of course, is when the real challenge begins. It's easy enough to avoid bumping into people when you're alone in your room, but completing an entire school day is another story entirely. Maybe you should just avoid it? You could pretend to be sick, then head back to the school after it ends—ostensibly to pick up missed assignments but really in order to bump into Annie. Or you could just head to school as normal. It can't be that hard to avoid touching people, can it?
