"Not out to cause mischief huh?" Sonic said aptly dodging Rouge's ring "Gonna have to move faster to take down the fastest thing alive." he said as he ran away
Rouge bared her fangs in an evil smirk "I intend to" she said flying after him trying time and time again to hypnotize the famous hero.
"Man, she's not letting up" Sonic thought dodging another blast "And I can't keep dodging forever, maybe it's time I called for backup" Sonic said instinctively reaching into his pocket. "When did I get a cell phone? More importantly when did I get pockets? Whatever." he said as he dialed Tails' number.
"TAILS!" Sonic yelled into the phone.
"Sonic? When did you get a phone?" He wondered.
"Tell you later. I'm in station square being chased by Rouge. I need aerial support NOW!" Sonic yelled.
"Sure Sonic! Be in the park in 5 minutes." Tails said running to the X Tornado
"Thanks." hanging up he muttered to himself "Ok bat girl, you've got some surprises, so do I." he said bearing left.
"You can't run forever Big Blue" Rouge said still blasting away.
True to his word when Sonic ran to the park five minutes later the X Tornado was right in sight and Rouge stopped in her tracks. "Damn. I'll have to make my move on Sonic later" knowing she'd never defeat the X Tornado without help.
"Thanks Tails" Sonic said climbing into the X Tornado.
"No problem Sonic. But what was that Rouge was doing?" Tails wondered out loud.
"No idea, but if she tried to sneak up to me with it, it's not good" Sonic concluded crossing his arms.
Meanwhile...
"Well that was a failure." Rouge said looking at her ring as if examining a manicure. "Maybe I should try someone else first. Someone who can get close to Sonic. But who...?"
