You fall back and end up hitting your the back of your head against the floor. You open your eyes and rub the back of your head. It was another attempt to break through the locked doors. You knew you were getting late to leave at your locker, but didn't realize how late it was, not to mention the considerable amount of time you had spent snoozing in History class. You sat there, the middle of summer in the dark high school hallway alone, or so it seemed so since you were the only one who normally was this late. You got back up, your head wasn't in as much pain as the impact had you thinking. You looked around, alone again in the school, if you wanted to leave you knew what to do and how to do it, there were plenty of ways to escape an empty locked school, you just needed the mind to figure it out, and you knew you had no where else to go so you definitely had time on your hands. But the thing was you didn't have any intention of leaving, instead you wanted to bask in the glory of freedom in a school which was to you so far always an oxymoron "freedom school".
