This choice: Screw the app, I gotta get a Larvitar! • Go Back...Chapter #5Screw the app, I gotta get a Larvitar! by: haxxare ![Author Icon](https://images.Writing.Com/imgs/writing.com/writers/costumicons/ps-icon-regular-2.gif) "Ehh, it's probably a joke. I've got better things to do, anyway." Ian said as he tucked his Pokegear back into his pocket. Ian opened his bag and shoved his head inside. Doing a quick count, he checked over his supplies. "Potions, check. Dusk balls, check. This Larvitar is mine..."
Summoning his Pidgeot, Ian flew to the Indigo League headquarters. If he remembered correctly, that was how he was meant to get to Mt. Silver.
"Ian! Long time no see!" called the guard.
"Hey Al!" replied Ian. Al was one of the guards on rotation there, and Ian had gotten to know him pretty well through his numerous trips there when he had competed in the League.
"Where you headed this time, buddy?" Al asked.
"Mt Silver. Heard there's Larvitar there".
"Well, that's right through this way. It's normally off-limits, but you've shown yourself more than capable of taking care of yourself." Al motioned to an inconspicuous door. Ian walked on through, thanking Al for his help, and after making his way through a long corridor, emerged in a rock wilderness.
"That's ... something." Ian remarked. Mt. Silver was tall and imposing, and there was an air of raw power about it. No wonder they didn't let average trainers here, they would get eaten alive.
He made his way through the brush and found a Pokemon Center. It seemed old, but the lights were on and everything.
"Who put one of these here...? Then again, not like I'm going to complain." Ian thought, and made his way inside. The inside of the Pokemon Center was exactly what he expected, down to the nurse with her Chansey manning the desk. What he didn't expect, though, was the girl sitting on one of the couches.
She was tall and slim, with a pretty face framed by bright blue hair tied up in two very fluffy-looking ponytails, wearing an orange vest over a long-sleeve grey undershirt, which emphasized the size of her rather large breasts. She was also wearing a very short, very ruffled short grey miniskirt trimmed with the same orange of her vest, over tight grey leggings which showed the fit shape of her legs. Her boots, knee-high, were the same orange color as her vest. Upon seeing Ian, she walked over and introduced herself.
"Hi! Are you from around here?" she asked.
"Umm... yeah, sort of." Ian replied, caught slightly off guard.
"Since you're here you must be pretty good, the guard said they don't let just anyone come here." the girl said. She had a slight accent that Ian was unable to place. "My name is Lucille."
"I'm Ian, nice to meet you."
"Ian? As in, reigning League Champion Ian?" Lucille asked. Ian blushed.
"Well yeah, I did win the last League..."
"Wow, Champion. That's really cool!" Lucille smiled. "Hey, do you want to battle?"
"I'd love to, but I'm actually here to catch a Larvitar. Maybe after that?" Ian stuttered. He hadn't been expecting a battle, and wasn't really that prepared. League had been a little while ago now, and he hadn't been doing much training.
"Tell you what. How about I give you my number, and you call me when you're up for it?" Lucille smiled again. Ian passed her his Pokegear, and she entered her number. "Oh and let me know how you go with that Larvitar!"
Ian smiled at Lucille, and left the Pokemon Center. He climbed over a nearby ledge and faced down the mountain, feeling confident. It wasn't every day an exotic beauty gave you her number, after all. Which reminded him, he still hadn't tested that app his dad had installed. What was the harm in testing it out? Or he could wait until he actually caught that Larvitar he was after.
