Steven thought this was too weird, her behavior didn't add up. And especially her not signing things, something she would always do and Steven joked about it when she did it.
He needed to talk about it with her. Steven went to the locker room door, he knocked on it. He could hear Liz saying to open the door. So Steven stepped inside and closed the door behind him. When he looked at Liz he knew something had to be up.
She was wearing a simple white blouse, which revealed her cleavage in a not direct way. Together with a black skirt, stockings and high heels. The heels surprised him the most five inches long, they would have been the longest Liz would have ever walked on. When he looked at her face, he saw she was wearing mascara with red lipstick.
"Wow, nice look." Steven just said.
"Steven, what a surprise." Liz said slightly embarrassed. "What are you doing here?"
"Just came in to see you." Steven said. "But I see that you've other plans."
Liz looked at herself. "Oh this, it's nothing special. I'm going out with Eric tonight and I wanted to freshen up."
"You didn't tell us that earlier." Steven said.
"It just slipped my mind, and you don't have to know everything I do." She answered quickly.
Steven didn't like this. Liz was usually more secure of herself, she was the boss around, but the way she acted, was just like a schoolgirl.
"Weird thing is, I just passed the driver who still didn't had his signature. Don't you always do it when he gets here?" Steven confronted her.
"I..I was just about to go to him, luv." Liz answered giving a smile.
"And what's with your behavior?" Steven asked slowly walking forward. "You're acting all embarrassed suddenly."
"It's just these clothes that make me uncomfortable, never been one to wear such things." Liz said backing away.
"Why wear them now? Eric knows you don't like it." Steven asked her.
Steven and Liz now stood almost face to face. With the high heels Liz wore Steven was just an inch taller than Liz.
"Are you really alright Liz?" Steven said with his face just an inch away from hers.
Liz didn't look Steven in the eyes, but Steven followed her gaze and stayed right in it.
"Okay, I'll tell you." Liz told him with her eyes down. "It's because..
