Everything around Steven suddenly appeared to go greyscale and a smiling Liz froze solid, along with everyone else in the store...and in town...and maybe further afield. "Woah, what the hell is going on?" he asked himself, rubbing his eyes, thinking he was seeing things. But he wasn't, and then the whole situation suddenly got a lot more bizarre when the apparition of the old man Steven had helped earlier appeared before him. "Greetings young man, sorry to show up like this rather abruptly, but I have a message for you. Unfortunately my time has come and I am now dead, but do not grieve for me" the 'ghost' said. Steven just stared at him, then arched both eyebrows, he hadn't even known the guy. "Anyway, I am here to tell you that I transferred to you a unique gift after you helped me, a super power if you wish" ...the old man continued, as Steven walked over to Liz and waved his hand in front of her face. "She can't see you, I have temporarily brought time to a standstill so I may deliver my message" the old man sighed, as he digressed.
"Okay, sorry, what is this message...and more importantly...what's this power I've got?" Steven asked as he scratched his head and straightened his glasses. "And do you mean you actually went ahead and snuffed it after I went through the trouble of saving you from being flattened by that truck?" he said.
"It wasn't intentional I assure you, I am...was 93 years old, it was just my time to go, but I needed to pass on my 'gift' the old man responded in annoyance.
"Huh...okay!" Steven nodded, tongue in cheek. He then raised his hands and hunched his shoulders impatiently. "Okay so are you gonna tell me what it is you've given me before I expire from old age too?" Steven mumbled, rolling his eyes.
"No need for rudeness!" the old man grumbled, folding his arms.
"Sorry!" Steven apologized.
The old man then went ahead and explained what Steven's new power was before disappearing into the void.
But which power was it he had given him?
1.The power to switch people's personalities/identities?
2.The ability to swap people's clothing?
3.The power to switch body parts with people by wearing their clothes?
