Nate chuckled to himself. He figured Nicole would ask for something like this. It was one of her favorites after all.
"It sounds fun Nicole, but I have things to do. Can't you ask Erin?" suggested Nate.
"But she said she's busy too. I don't have anyone else." said Nicole, pouting a bit. Upon further inspection, Nate could see that Nicole was sucking on something, but he figured that it was just some piece of candy their parents gave her or something.
"Sorry, but not right now." said Nate, about to leave.
"Aw, I wish you'd play with me." she sighed.
Right at that moment, the candy in Nicole's mouth activated. Unknowingly to Nate, Nicole had grabbed the jar that he left behind, enjoying what was there for herself since no one else seemed to want them.
Nate suddenly felt something begin to take hold of him.
