Nate shrugs his shoulders. "I have no idea but they seemed to know who the both of us were and they said that they were on their way over to pick us up. To be honest this has me a little bit worried that someone apparently knows where I live." he says.
Kate's eyes go wide when Nate's finished with his explanation. "This could mean that my wish actually worked and those ones that you made earlier did too." she says excitedly. "Why would anyone care so much about us or need us for something that we never knew about?" she reasons.
This causes Nate to think about it for a moment when he realizes that she is indeed right about what she said. "I guess the candies are legit then." he says excitedly as he can finally confirm that he's essentially holding on to a golden ticket.
During their excitement, neither of the two noticed how their ages increased although Kate's went up higher as she jumped to 18 while Nate was seventeen.
Their clothes had also altered further with Nate's pantlegs starting to get longer, covering his feet while the material softened. Kate's pants were becoming made of a rougher material.
Nate was so excited about what was going on that he forgot about the candies and looked over towards them to get them but were they still there?
