She lets the candie roll around in her mouth for a bit as she thinks about what kind of wish she'd like to make when it finally comes to her. "Oh I know. I wish that we were both famous celebrities." she says as the candie finally dissolves.
Nate braces himself as he awaits for the wish to take effect but nothing happens. "Why is it not working?" he asks.
Kate just shrugs her shoulders. "Guess they weren't so magical afterall." she says as she leaves his room and heads across the hall to the bathroom.
Nate tries to figure out why that wish didn't work. "I guess they aren't really magical afterall. Maybe that money was already in my pocket to the begin with and that flash before Tommy went downstairs was just some sunlight coming in through the window." he mutters, finding a reasonable explanation for why those events transpired.
Shrugging his shoulders, he decides to turn on his Xbox and get some gaming time in while Kate's in the bathroom. He doesn't notice his height drops by a couple of inches, stopping permanently at 5'4" tall. His shoes start to lighten to a cream color as they conform tighter to his feet with the material hardening and becoming sturdier.
