She felt...empty inside. Like someone had scooped her hollow. She rubbed her nose, which seemed abnormally sensitive to the smells...from the kitchen. HERBIE the family robot would be making dinner now...Lasagna and Garlic Bread...Salad with creamy Blue Cheese dressing...a Cheesecake waiting in the fridge. She shouldn't have been able to smell all that...but she could. Her stomach started to tie itself into knots as she bit her lower lip...
"Miss Richards?"
The intercom. HERBIE.
"Yes, HERBIE...what...what it is?"
"Mister Richards just called and left a message. He'll be late for dinner, and you, Franklin and Valeria might as well start without him."
"Well, I suppose the five of us..."
"Three, Mrs. Richards."
"What about Ben and Johnny?"
"Mr. Grimm said he must attend some sort of Poker game at the Avengers Mansion, and your brother and his ex-wife are trying to work through their differences again."
Lyja. The pretty female Skrull who Johnny had married so many years ago, when she was disguised as Alicia Masters. She was a good sort - she had saved the children during the so-called "Secret Invasion" just recently - and she'd not mind having her around for awhile. But...that still...
"But I prepared a menu for six...and one was going to be Ben, so that's more like twelve! That's a lot of food...that'll go...to waste..."
Her stomach rumbled...loudly. She felt herself becoming lightheaded. She remembered that time they were stranded in space...no food...starving to death...it had felt just like this...
"...but, I'm certain we can just cover the leftovers. Lay out the table and summon the children to dinner. I'm...I'm famished."
She felt the tingle in her spine again, an electric thrill that traveled up to her brain. She hoped nothing important was in that container.
"Mom eatin' like Unca Benji." said Valeria, as Susan scooped a fifth helping of Lasagna from the pan, snatched some garlic bread, and started eating again. The hunger pangs were still as insistent as ever. But, joining them...was a feeling of mild euphoria as she chewed and swallowed the delicious food. It was all soooo good! And the act of eating...of consumption...had never been so satisfying! Valeria giggled and Franklin gaped as she ate...
But not important. Not at all important. What was important was eating. That her watched her eat, no GORGE herself was cute...but not a problem. Franklin asked if she was okay about the time she finished her seventh helping...and the pangs were lessening. Not vanishing, but diminishing. Fading gradually...
"I'm fine, Franklin. Would the two of you like a piece of cheese cake?"
Two cries of "Yes, mom." followed by Susan saying "I...I think I'll have the rest, HERBIE. Reed doesn't like deserts, and I don't want any to go to waste.
Afterward, she waited for Reed to get home, a feeling of contentment and...erotic pleasure thrilling her. With luck, Reed would be back soon. She wanted him now more than ever, and the tingle in her spine was now like being buzzed on a dozen Red Bulls at once. She...she...

She rolled over and stuck her buttocks in his direction. Her rump was projecting and fuller. She looked as if she's gained 20 lbs since this morning.
