Something's different about you

“Well, now that we’re here it’s time I-” Stephina started to say, but then she suddenly stopped.

“What? What is it?” you asked.

“Is it possible…?” Stephina said quietly, more to herself than you. For several uncomfortable moments Stephina just stares at you, then a smile spreads on her face. “Well, well, well. This is interesting, very interesting indeed.”

“What? What’s so interesting?” You ask.

“It seems when we went through the portal you gained the ability to use magic like me. How would you like to become my apprentice?” Stephina asked.
