Magnemite Croquette is a counter at Mauville Food court which is run by Jake Black. This counter has one particular teenage customer who gets dinner there every day by the name of Charlie Johnston. Magnemite Croquette uses a Double Battle system for trainers who want to acquire seats from others, as there often aren't any available, a system that Charlie has never lost at. Charlie has two pokemon; Plusle and Gardevoir. Plusle uses Discharge, Nasty Plot, Swift, and Grass Knot with the ability Lightning Rod. Gardevoir uses Psychic, Safeguard, Charge Beam, and Shadow Ball with the ability Telepathy.
It had been two years since Charlie started going to Magnemite Croquette, never eating anywhere else for dinner. Charlie had become Jake's favorite customer and even chatted with him from time to time. Jake decided after two years to finally pay Charlie back for his loyal patronage. One day Charlie walked into the Mauville Food Court as usual and made his order, but Jake asked if Charlie could come back after the food court closes. Charlie takes his meal back to his seat, and during the entire time he's eating, all he could think about is why Jake wants to see him after closing hours.
When it was finally time to meet Jake back at the food court, Charlie picked up his two pokeballs, and made his way there from his apartment. Once Charlie entered the food court, he noticed several dozen take-out boxes stacked on top of each other. "Glad you came!" Jake walked over with a big grin on his face, "All this is a big thanks for all the times you bought my craft! Fifty free boxes of the stuff!" Charlie could only stand there shocked at how much Jake was willing to give him. "Don't even bother sayin' 'I can't accept all this', because I ain't takin' no for an answer! There's a reason I put 'em in take-out boxes!"
Gardevoir followed behind Charlie while holding all the take-out boxes using her psychic powers. Charlie was glad that Jake appreciated his patronage so much, but it felt overwhelming with how much he was given. Despite what Charlie felt though, Gardevoir had found an opportunity to fulfill Charlie's desire for a fat pokemon. After Charlie had fallen asleep shortly later, Gardevoir made her way to the refrigerator and opened it up, seeing many boxes of croquette. However, there is one question that Gardevoir had think through first: Should she just eat a few boxes tonight and see if Charlie notices her slowly gaining over time, or binge eat the entire thing tonight?
