"How could I forget that! and my atm card is right here."
She dug into her Vuitton backpack and got out her wallet. She then went to the machine and put in her PIN.
"Ugh!! Stupid machine!"
"What's wrong?"
"It says it can only give me a thousand dollars! how are we supposed to go shopping with that??"
"So go inside and get more."
"Evie, what would I do without you sometimes?"
Esther walked up to the teller's window and spoke to the lady behind the counter. The lady called the manager and explained what was going on. The manager smiled and went to his desk. He brought back a form for Esther to sign and then the teller gave her 4 thick stacks of 100 dollar bills.
"Here you go Eves. 20 for you, 20 for me."
"Are you serious? $20,000???"
"Not enough?"
"What are we gonna do with all this money??"
"Spend it of course!!! It's for us to update our wardrobes dont you think? Besides, you know always the donate our old clothes to charity."
Evie smiled, satisfied by that answer. Esther then reached into her bag and got out her cellphone. A cab soon arrived to take them to the mall. Three hours later, they were dropped off at Esther's mansion. While the driver unloaded the mountain of bags and boxes from his trunk, the girls went inside.
"Well if isnt my favorite spoiled rich girl!"
Esther smiled as Natalie, their live in housekeeper came out of the kitchen. She had been with their family since Esther was 2. She was not only Esther's babysitter but the closest thing she had to a big sister.
"So I hope you dont expect ME to put away all those clothes!"
"Of course not. I'll take care of it. Like always."
"So....anything for me???"
"What do YOU think????"
Esther pointed at three of the Prada boxes and Natalies eyes lit up.
