Russ stared at his two teammates and wondered what he could do to them. Then, he realized that he could really do anything he wanted. So, he decided to start off with something simple.
"Hey, you guys!" he shouted.
Joel and Matt stopped drying themselves and turned around, staring at Russ.
"You guys have always been my friends. So, I think you two could use some more height. That would make you go faster when you're swimming in the pool. How about you two grew six inches taller right now?" Russ grinned.
Both Joel and Matt stared at him. What was Russ talking about?
"Say what?" Joel asked.
Then, both boys were overcome by a gentle tingling in their legs. As seconds ticked by, the boys felt their legs growing six inches longer, just as Russ had said. Joel grew from 5-ft-7 to 6-ft-1 and Matt grew from 5-ft-10 to 6-ft-4, all in about four seconds.
In fact, Russ was now the shortest guy in the locker room, looking up to his two taller friends! But, he didn't care. He was just thrilled to see that his power worked!
"Holy shit!" Joel gasped, looking down at himself.
"What the hell? How did we get so tall?" Matt wondered out loud.
Russ just laughed as he folded his arms and stared at his friends, who were completely amazed by their sudden growth spurt. They had no idea what had happened to them, or why. This was going to be so much fun!
