It Thursday, and that meant it was cookery class, Bailey turned up bright and early, and watched as all the other girls, and woody walked in, Cody was already their of course and he was just setting everything out, she smiled watching him, only for her smile to disintegrate, as she saw several other girls smiling at him and twiddling with their hair.
Ever since the two off them had got back together, Bailey had been very happy again, and she didn't want to lose this feels seeing as she had only just got it back, this however, had meant that she had become incredibly possessive and easy became jealous over other girls and Cody, as such the sight of them made here turn green, she took a deep breath and managed to control it, after all this had happened before, Cody was only interested in her, so calm down, she thought.
"Now class" Cody began, “today I'm going to let you make whatever you like, and when you’re done I'll come tell how you did on it", as such the class quickly got to work, each making their favourite, Bailey decided to make some old apple pie, like her mother did back in cattlecorn, she went and got the ingredients, and returned to her table.
She quickly got to work, but she had never been good at cooking, partially because she was against the idea of 1950's woman, partially, because she was just bad at it, Cody walked over, "Well miss picket" he said with a smile "Yes sir (Cody liked being called sir or Mr Martin in class, so everyone did)" she said also smiling "if you’re making what I think you are, you might want to peal your apples before cutting them" he said.
She smiled as he walked off, and began pealing the apples, she was half way through when, she looked up and saw Cody was helping another girl, she didn't know her name, but she was tall and had red hair, the girl was clearly having trouble with stirring the mixture, so Cody had put his arms on the utensils and was helping her with it.
Bailey's vision turned green, "Mr Martin" she called "Could you help me?" Cody walked over and gave her a hand peeling the remainder of the apples before leaving again, she turned to making the crust, she grabbed the flour, eggs and sugar and started putting them in the bowl, she looked up again and smiled seeing Cody sitting at his desk.
Suddenly a voice called "could you help me please sir?" she turned and saw the voice had come from Debby greensand, and normal sized black haired girl, who had been watching him since the start. Cody rushed over to help her, "here you go" he said as the two of them got to work with her project, again bailey saw green.
She called for Cody a second time, "In a minute" he replied, she gasped, and tried again, only to be met by a similar response, not thinking properly she quickly grabbed several eggs and dropped them, "Help sir, I dropped my eggs she called" Cody walked over, Bailey batted her eyes at him, "There there, here have some more" he said
And he handed Bailey another couple of eggs, she smiled, and watched as he walked away, it then became obvious to her that the whole class staring at her, she gulped and turned to face her work, realising that she had to stop getting so jealous, Cody liked her, not any of these other girls, she kept repeating that in her head, after finishing the crust, she got to work on the apples.
Taking a knife she began to cut the freshly peeled and decorated with cinnamon apples, she began chopping, only to here another girl calling for Cody’s help, she managed to resist the urge to look up, deciding that it would just make her jealous again, so she continued cutting the apples, until she heard a giggling. Giving in to temptation she looked up, a decision she would live to regret.
She saw Amber Bradly and Cody together, and the sight alone was enough to make her turn greener than the wicked witch of the west, as Amber was that sort of girl who somehow seemed to look perfect, the sort that the sun always glistened off, the sort that her long blonde hair was always perfect, her flawless skin seemed to glow. She was just a bit shorter than Cody, and basically she was the sort of girl, which she had nightmares about stealing Cody off her.
But what made it even worse was what they were doing, Cody had clearly helped here with her project, which appeared to be soup, and she was spoon feeding a Cody a sample, Bailey felt more jealous than she had ever felt in her life; but before she could do anything about it, she didn't see where she was cutting, and accidentally the knife went onto her finger.
She let out a ear aching scream, and felt like crying, although she managed to control herself, Cody ran over "What's the Matter" he called, Bailey didn't say anything she just held up her finger, "there, there" he said "I'll get the nurse". Bailey however didn't want him to go, so she let open the flood gates, and tears poured out of her eyes.
Instantly Cody came by her side, and started to comfort her, after a while she started to feel better, and Cody sensing this, started to get up, to get the nurse, however she still didn't want him to leave, so sadly she wept "don't leave me", "I'll be back in a little while" Cody said, again he tried to get up to leave, however bailey grabbed him by the shirt, and cried "Don't leave me"
"I'll be back in a minute" he said, as he struggled, but Bailey held firm, she then pulled, Cody, who had never been of strong build fell, he grabbed the table cloth, as he did and everything on the table went flying, bits pastry, apple, and cutlery short around the room, hitting all the other students, everyone screamed and ducked,
The Chopping board hit the oven door, and the glass smashed, as the oven was on, the board quickly went up, and the flames spread on to the table, and then on to the stack of papers on the table. Cody, who was the first one, was the first one to see this, "F...Fi...Fire" he screamed, the girls jumped up and also started screaming, "Abandon class room" Cody shouted.
Everyone ran out of the doors screaming, Woody grabbed Addison and said "I'll save you Addison" and ran into the window, only for him to hit the glass, he got up and said "ow", Addison grabbed him and pulled him out through the door that was next to the window.
A few hours later, Cody was sitting in his cabin, in a huff, he couldn't believe what Bailey had done today, the fire had been put out, but till they could repair the kitchen, the cooking class had been cancelled, and he was having to work over time to help pay off the bill, although he had managed to get some of it off London, due to the fact he had bet her that she couldn't find the x on a map, which he won as it turned out she couldn't spell X.
What could he do about bailey? He couldn't let her get away with this, he need to teach her a lesson, she couldn't act like a baby just to get attention, and then an idea hit him, he smiled, all he need was some help from London, an extra cabin, and several more find the X questionnaires, once he got them, he could teach her a lesson, Cody smiled at the thought of the end product.
