Chad just arrived in college. It was getting dark outside, but he was spending the morning going around campus and getting to know most of first year students. He was always a very friendly type. "Relationships are the foundation of advancement." His father thought. "Or we can just have fun together." He thought.
Now he walked down the hallway to his room. He will know his roommate. He thought he would easily make friends with him.
He opens the door and enters. Thump. Chad is on the ground.
"I stumbled?" He asks as he looks back. The object is a shoe. A shoe that is next to his partner by the wall. Simple canvas shoes but not average. Because it's 1'9 long. He can't understand what he sees. Why would someone need such a shoe.
"You hit yourself? I'm really sorry. Next time I'll try to put them down better." A voice said.
Chad turns around and finds himself facing two black socks. The socks cover huge feet. Size like the previous shoes. Chad lifts his head. He looks over a long, thin body. The person's head bends over his head. It's not surprising. The boy could not fit otherwise.
"Are you okay?" The boy asks again.
"Well I do. Yes." Chad said and stood up. His eyes are in line with the boy's groin.
"My name is Skylar." He said shamefully.
"Chad."
Skylar is silent and hasn't moved.
"You are a little ..." Chad starts to say, but he stopped when he saw Skylar frown nervously. "... you look young." Finish it.
"Ye .. ye.. yes. I'm only 17 years old. I jumped for a couple of years." He explained.
"Yes he couldn't deny it. Long light brown hair, green eyes with frameless glasses, slim body and a huge 'I love science' captioned t-shirt." Thought Chad.
"Then I'm gonna unpack my stuff." Chad says and goes inside.
"Yes ... if ... you are not angry ... you would do it ... but only if it doesn't bother you. Would you take off your shoes? I just cleaned and packed it. "
"Oh man. It won't be easy." Chad thought.
