Your frustrations build.

It was tempting but a cold chill ran through you, making you realize that this was not the way to learn a secret, you had to find another way, without violating anyone's rights.

"It's not right for me to snoop like this." you whispered to yourself. "There has to be another way."

You then left to your own room to think, unaware that mom was watching you from a distance. "This must be tearing him apart, feeling left out like this." she thought with a sigh. "Unfortunately, it's for his own good."

Later, mom took you to gymnastics practice at school. You did not ask about the big secret as you suspected mom would be just as tight lipped about it as Hayley. "I need to just forget about this, for now." you thought. "Otherwise, I'm just going to drive myself crazy."

At practice, you found yourself more focused than ever, though your mind was in turmoil over the big secret the girls only seemed to know. As you went into your final routine on the uneven bars, you began to feel a little strange, as if your balance was slightly off. You adjusted accordingly then executed a perfect dismount and landing but you could not figure out what had happened to make you feel so out of balance.

"That was just weird." you thought. you shrugged. "Maybe this big secret has me second guessing myself."

Later during practice, you did a number of somersaults on the mats then did a triple spin int he air and landed in a full splits before jumping back up onto your feet. It was not until you were done when a girl from Hayley's cheer leading squad came up to you. "Um... John." she asked. "Have you and Mel been working together on routines?"

"Are you serious, Sammie?" you asked, turning to the girl, annoyed.

Sammie was about Hayley's height and build with shoulder length brown hair and wild green eyes. She was second in command in the cheer squad and a very nice person. the captain of the cheer squad, a queen bitch type, named Kristy, saw her as competition and was constantly trying to get her booted off.

"Please answer me." begged Sammie.

You shook your head. "Can this day get any more weird?" you thought. then you said, "No, this is a simple tumble and leap routine that I have been using for over a year. Don't tell me that the squad is using a similar routine!"

Sammie nodded, causing you groan and roll your eyes. "I'm showering up and going home." you said. "I've had enough frustration for one day!"

You enter the shower room and find a stall before slipping out of your gym uniform and stepping into the hot spray of water, hoping it would relax your muscles. For some reason, even though you did not really push yourself, all of your muscles felt as if you had gone through a full work out.

"This whole day must have really stressed me out!" you said to yourself, felling your muscles slowly relaxing. "Who cares what secret they are keeping from me. As long as I can do what makes me happy, I don't need to know."

You began to shower, using a body wash mom had bought you and began to lather up. Only, as you finished your shower, you noticed that the air seemed colder than usual. You looked down and clamped a hand over your mouth to silence a scream. With the exception of the hair on your head, all of your body hair was gone and you could see a thin black powder running down the drain with the wash water.

"I'm glad I used a different soap for my hair." you thought, eying your now smooth skin with distaste. "Can this day get any more annoying!?!"

You toweled dry and tossed the body wash you used on your skin into your bag, frustrated, then started to get dressed. Only doing so brought you another surprise, you found that that seemed a little loose on you. "Okay, this is getting ridiculous!" you said to yourself. "What the heck is going on!?!"

Tightening your belt to keep your pants up, you left the gymnasium and found your mom waiting for you. "If what is happening to me has anything to do with what mom and my sisters are keep from me..." you thought, slamming your fist into your free hand.

"Is something wrong, John?" asked mom, seeing your frustrated expression and action.

You stepped into the car and turned to her, frustrated. "It's been a very stressful day mom." you said. "And I believe you are the direct cause of it."

Mom looked at you surprised. "I'm certain I have no idea what you are talking about, John." she said.

You then angrily rolled up your pants, revealing that your leg was silk like smooth, to your mom's increasing surprise. "This happened to me, using that body wash you bought me." you said, accusing.

You went on to quickly give other examples of what was happening to you, finishing with. "I want some straight answers and I want them now!"

Mom looked at you, rather sadly, then said...

You have the following choices:

1. Not here, at home.

2. You'll find out soon enough.

3. Ask more nicely, then maybe.
