The next day, you and Mel are home alone, and she is sitting uncomfortably on your bed. "I know what's you're thinking, just say it" you mutter to Mel. She gulps and says, "How long do you think you're last?"
The question takes you by surprise, since you expected her to ask you if you've come up with a name and identity for youself. "Huh? I expected you to ask about my future. I don't know. I'm hoping to spend our 13th as me, but I doubt I'll be around for our 14th, least not like this." you say glumly. "Yes, I know you will show me it is not so bad, but you're not the one changing."
"I though you'd say that. John, I'd expect you would want to openly say you're my sister. And yeah, I'll show you the good things. Guess you don't want to practice wearing girls' clothes?"
"No way. s long as I'm a guy, I'm not doing that" you say sharply. Laughing slightly, you add "You manage to do it, so how hard can it be?" Without thinking, you punch her playfully in the arm.
"John, you idiot. You say you don't want to change, then you go and touch me! I'll get the scissors" Mel scolds you. You take one look, and see what damage been done, but you're completely normal, except for your now shoulder length blond and brown hair. Mel frowns "Any damage?"
"No. Apart for my hair, and I don't want to wait for anyone to find me like this. Think you can cut it without touching me?" you ask. Mel nods.
"Think so, but is it better to ask Megan or her Mom?"
"No, I don't wnat to pester Dr Thompson every time we accidently bump into each other, and I don't want to let Megan know yet. How can I explain this to her, that physical contact with my family, due to witchcraft, is changing my gender?" you laugh bitterly.
