Mom sighed. "I can't tell you." to your frustration, she said. "However, I can point you in the right direction to learn the secret on your own."
This surprised you. "Why do I have to find out on my own?" curious, you asked.
"It will become clear once you learn the secret." firmly but kindly, mom replied. "Also, it will be... easier on everyone this way." she gave you a small grin before walking over to a safe in the back of her study and retrieved a large book. "Here you will find your answers."
You took the book from mom. "The Magic book for curious boys?" reading the title, you asked. "Is this your idea of a joke?"
Mom shook her head. "Read the book." firmly, she said. "It's the only way you will get your answers without any uncomfortable situations."
"What is that supposed to mean?" taken back, you thought. you shrugged, deciding something was better than nothing and took the book to your room. Upon opening it, you found a curious message on the first page. It read...
'Greetings, curious boy. In this book, you will learn many secrets and the reasons behind them. Be fair warned that once you begin reading this book, your life will forever change. If you are still curious, turn the page; if not close the book and return it to whom had given it to you.'
Reading this only increased your curiosity and you turned the page to read on....
'All of the girls in your family are witches, possessing the power of magic. Only girls have the power to use magic as it is focused in the uterus, an organ only girls possess. Boys born in witch families possess incredible physical attributes due to the dormant magical power within them; this is the balance that exists in witch families.'
"Nice piece of fiction." scoffing, you whispered.

This peaked your curiosity and you looked at the ingredients to all three potions. "I can find all of these in the kitchen and the garden." whispering, you said. "I wonder..."
