This choice: You win, Hayley tells her secret • Go Back...Chapter #6Magic can't win everything by: Runner   Much to Hayley's surprise, since she is magically helping Mel to hit the puck, you ace the final game, winning the match. You smile, and turn to Hayley. "I win. Now, what is this big secret of yours?"
"Not here" she says, grabbing your arm. You groan, and groan again as she leads you towards the girl's bathroom. "Hayley!" you say.
"Okay. Don't lose it" she says, looking around. Satisfied that nobody is around, she whispers, "I'm got these umm abilities, John. Um.. gulp magical abilities you're not supposed to learn about."
You look at her annoyed. "I won that bet fairly, at some risk of wearing a prom dress and you're telling me that. Tell me the real reason"
"It is John. If you follow me into the bathroom, I can show you..." Hayley says.
"Forget it" you mumble, walking off annoyed. Mel looks at Hayley "Magic? Seriously?"
As you storm out of the mall, you you bump into a small boy that you know. His name is Mike Cutie, and the neighbor from behind, and you suspect has a slight crush on Hannah. He sees that you're fuming. "Something wrong?"
"My sister got back and lost a bet with me. She was supposed to tell me why she is acting all secretive and weird, but instead she tells me that she is a witch!" you say.
"Weird, Hannah told me a week ago that she just got these magic powers. I thought she was playing around. You know how girls can be..." Mike says. You can't help but smile. "Never lose your childhood nievity"
"Sure that they aren't telling us the truth?" Mike says.
"Magic isn't real" you sigh, deciding to leave. Neither you or Mike notices the woman standing outside. "Sorry " you mutter, before turning white. Its one woman you're been told to avoid at all cost, a woman called Samantha Forester, and you see Mike has knocked over another that was talking to her, one you don't recogize. Best to get out of the mall now   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
