"Dude, pinch me..." Nathan says, but you're still too distracted to say anything! Just then she walks in your direction. Quickly you both pretend to be cramming. "Uhm, hi..." you suddenly hear a nice soprano voice speaking. You look up... and see the girl looking right at you. Her expression is a shy smile, a little bit too self-conscious, but you find her overall quite nice. "Young man, is this seat already occupied?" she says and motions towards a seat in front of you! "Uh...". "No!" Nathan suddenly chimes in! "I'm Nathan, and that parody of a stand-up comedian over here is Mike!". "Uhm, hi!" you greet her. "Uhm, so, I'm Jo.. er-, Joanna! Nice to meet you, too!" she says and sits down.
Suddenly, you look up to see another person coming in the room. It is one of the college principals, an elderly, red-haired woman. All conversations in the room cease as she walks up to the speaker's desk and turns the microphone on.
"Dear students, I regret to inform you that today's course will not be held by Dr. Grodin, he...".
