This choice: Ask for a demonstration. • Go Back... "How do I know it works?" you asked the bartender, who raised an eyebrow, showing clear disapproval of the fact you didn't trust him fully. "I'm gonna need a demonstration" you said, as he poured yet another drink for you.
"Fair enough!" the he replied, tilting his head.
"It doesn't have to be a human test though, last thing we need is the feds in here confiscating your stuff" your muttered, as the whiskey began having an effect on your senses. However you remained sober enough to know what you were doing.
"As long as nobody sees anything, who cares?" the bartender shrugged, smirking a little.
"True!" you said, holding your glass up to him in gesture.
The guy turned to his right and gestured to the other end of the bar, where a barmaid was stood collecting up some empty glasses. "That's Tiffany, only started working here about a week ago, she's a quiet girl but she's got a decent body under those clothes" he said, referring to the 22-year old blonde with her hair in a ponytail. You studied the woman from behind, she looked to about 5' 5" and was wearing a white t-shirt, black skirt, black tights and plain black flats as well as her apron.
"Charming! What about her?" you responded.
You get to choose what I turn her into..." the bartender said, before moving to quell your inevitable protests. "...temporarily of course. I'll change her back afterwards, You know this thing is amazing, once you hold the thing it sends pulses that travel to your brain, so it sort of reads your thoughts or something like that. Whoever or whatever you shoot with it will transform into whatever you're thinking about at the time" he explained.
"The wonderful age of high technology huh?" you sighed, glancing at the barmaid again.
The bartender nodded. "And now you know why it was banned from official production" he nodded with a smile.
